Beware the Butterflies

A site visitor has just emailed us to relay a wedding reception disaster story from WA.
Attending a beautiful marquee wedding in the Cottesloe area a rather nice touch at the reception was to let what felt like several hundred butterflies free into the marquee all at once.
The idea was nice and the sight was initially beautiful, until, like moths they were all attracted to two rather large and strong lights that had been brought into to light up the head table.
As soon as they were released, the butterflies headed directly for the large lights and committed suicide one-by-one infront of all the guests.
The guests were all in shock, not to mention the bride...
We have been informed however, that this event was not a bad omen for the marriage. The couple are very happily married!!
