Rumoured to have cost of more than $3 million.
Beautiful bride Brynne Gordon wore $500,000 worth of jewels and dazzled in a strapless, ivory gown of silk, satin and tulle which cost $20,000.
Members of the wedding party arrived in Rolls Royces, with one bearing "Brynne" numberplates.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous, seven-course dinner.
Brynne's brothers Nick and Ryan said it was a wedding most women would only ever dream of.
"I think it's probably every girl's dream to meet the man of her dreams and marry in like, a fairytale."
Proud and protective of their older sister, Nick and Ryan were equally full of praise for their new brother-in-law. "He's fantastic to Brynne, he's great with our whole family and he treats her so well, we are really happy for both of them."
Brynne's gown, a Baccini and Hill creation featuring a '50s-style fishtail with full-length English tulle and hand-beaded Italian lace.
The wedding ceremony was said to have been a traditional exchange of simple but heartfelt vows.
Guests began arriving at 5pm with special host Fran Drescher, of TV show The Nanny fame, among the last to walk the red carpet.
She met the happy couple only last week but was excited to be at the lavish affair.
"Rarely do people have such big weddings these days but it will be a blast. It's going to be wonderful," she gushed.
She praised the pair for asking for donations to charity in lieu of gifts. "There is so much in the world that is not happy so when you find two people in love, there is no downside to that."
The wedding Reception took place at Crown Towers in Melbourne.
