Rattlers South Yarra

Rattlers is an exciting new wedding venue, located on Toorak Road, South Yarra. Built in 1862 as South Yarra Train station, this historic building was completely renovated and restored in 2007 to become Rattlers.

Already one of Melbournes most exclusive and sought wedding venues, Rattlers offers a unique space that can provide a variety of options in terms of the style of wedding ceremony and reception desired. Our friendly, experienced event specialists will be available from start to finish to ensure the day is truly memorable.


Arriving from Toorak Road, the unique entrance of Rattlers has a luxurious grand staircase with chandeliers overhead. Continuing through the venue, guests will have the option of enjoying two separate event spaces each with their own bar and garden courtyard. The entire building has been finished with polished timber floor boards and plantation wooden window shutters, set in neutral tonings. The venue is wired with state-of-art audio-visual equipment and professional lighting making it ideal for live music and/or DJ entertainment.


The venue is ideally located on Toorak Road, with nearby Chapel Street only minutes away, a short 10 minute drive from the CBD. Rattlers is easily accessible via public transport, has an abundance of nearby hotels for accommodation and ample public car parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
